Simon Peter Kwadwo Attah-Cato is a professional Educational Administrator and Consultant of the Ghanaian and British/Cambridge Education Curricula.
He has over 22 years of professional teaching and School Management and Curriculum Development Experience.
He is a product of Bishop Herman College, Kpando; St. Francis’ College of Education, Hohoe; University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast; University of Education, Winneba; Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, Greenhill, Accra; and the prestigious University of Wales, Uk.
He is a member of the Principals’ Forum of British Curriculum Schools in Ghana, and a Certified Cambridge Curriculum Teachers’ Mentor and Trainer.
Simon Peter Kwadwo Attah-Cato is a Lead Trainer at the Annual School Summits at the British Council, Accra and a Senior Facilitator for the Digital Education Group (DEG), Accra, Ghana.
Simon Peter Kwadwo Attah-Cato is a Certified Trainer at Cambridge Curricula School Teachers and Practitioners and has undergone several professional and school management training programmes under the auspices of the University of Cambridge, (UK) and the British Council, Ghana.
He has previously been Principal of the following 1st Class Schools in Accra:
- North Legon British School;
- Royal Streams International School;
- Trinity Lutheran School and
- Angels Specialist School, Tema.
Mr. Simon Peter Attah-Cato is the founder and Lead Trainer of Excellent Touch Educational Consult and Training Institute, an educational service provider in the Ghanaian and British Curriculum Schools in Ghana.
At Trinity Lutheran School, where he served as Executive Manager of the School between 2012 and April 2016, he led the school to become the Best Performing BECE School in the Tema Metropolis on 3 consecutive occasions; 2013, 2014 and 2015 where the school’s candidates did not record only 100% passes but with distinctions. These achievements led the Evangelical Lutheran Church Schools, Ghana (ELCS-GH) to honour Mr. Simon Peter Kwadwo Attah-Cato with an Honorary Citation of Excellence.
He is on record to be the first Head of North Legon Little Campus, a pure British Curriculum School, and the first Principal of Tema’s prestigious award-winning Angel Specialist School International; another British Curriculum School.
He is currently the EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of AngloGold Ashanti Schools, Obuasi – Ghana.
He is an avid reader and a sports enthusiast who supports the Manchester United Football Club of the UK.
He has the vision to grow the Schools to become first class churning out excellent performances on a consistent basis and also, to make the Schools independent sustainability development units under AngloGold Ashanti, Obuasi Mine.
